Trip to Bavaria
In August 2006 a trip was arranged to visit our friends in Bavaria once more -the male voice choir Sangerrunde Mittich. It was great to meet up with them again and they had organised a superb itinerary of events for us. A concert was arranged in Hartkirchen Church before we left for home. The ladies on the trip joined us to form a mixed chorus for some items at the end. During our stay, a very dear friend and long-standing member of Sangerrunde Mittich died, and we were honoured to be able to sing 'Hafan Gobaith' ( a Welsh Song of Hope) in his memory at the concert.

Santiago de Compostela
Our latest trip was to the beautiful ancient city of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, North West Spain. We were invited to participate in the main ceremony of the day, ‘The Pilgrim’s Mass’ at the cathedral in Santiago. Later on in the week we were the guests of the ‘Coral Lestonnac Singers’ and the ‘Lambranzas da Ria’ folk dancers and singers in a grand concert at Cangas do Morrazo near
